Runner's Feedback
GOOD NEWS. I like the Banditos. Ran my best marathon for 10 years in them-first time in top 3 for my age group. I would like another pair of 10 ½.

Hey Ken!
Just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for the shoes. I took them with me to Paihia and put them through the test of my intensive training regime (40 min daily trail run). They were great. Even with my wide feet, still had enough room.
Am doing The Goat trail run at Ruapehu with a bunch of my Waiheke buddies. Hope to see you there.

LOCO NZ,
Shoes arrived Friday morning. I have run 1 & 1/2 hrs each on Friday and Monday with a 3 hour run on Sunday so they well worn in. They have been very comfortable and the cushioning is great. Looks like I will be sticking with these. Thanks for the great service and for supplying an impressive product.

LOCO NZ,
I picked up my two pairs of Loco's from you in early December. I bought a pair of Perfecto and Bandito. I haven't really used the Bandito's much, but I have been using the Perfecto's heaps.
Here's the basic report on the Perfectos.
They feel good! A little bit hard in the fore-foot in terms of padding, but certainly durable and comfortable. The Perfecto's don't feel particularly fast, but a good training shoe overall. They don't necessarily accelerate your foot motion. I have been stopped by several people to ask how to find them, obviously there's a lot more recognition of the brand out there so I would presume that your orders are starting to pick up.
They are very easy to keep clean, and still look good despite two months use.
As I have said, I haven't really used the Banditos so will give you a report on those once I have had a chance to do some speed work over the next few months.
Verdict
Great value and still a very good shoe for the price. I will definetely buy more! Keep up the good work.

From NZ Run.com:
Can anybody please point me in the direction of website or mailorder company in NZ that I can get running shoes from?
Man I cannot agree more! I'm a poor backpacker and they seem really expensive on the high street here. I used to pick up Asics DS trainers in Sydney for around $160, they are well over $200 here. I've got about 4 pairs of shoes on the go and recently bought a pair of Loco trainers, good shoes for training, very cost effective. Mine only cost $125 and are just fine. The site is www.locorunning.co.nz If you are in Auckland you'll get a fitting session at your home and a great chat with top blokes! I'll be buying Loco shoes for a while I think, I am more than happy with them and at $125 for the trainers, $100 for the lightweight racers, you can't afford not to have a look.
Far out, I'm definitely going to try a pair of those shoes out. Might go with the light trainers first. If too light I can just race in them... Which model have you been running in corsta? How many kms you getting out of them?
I've got the Perfecto's. I've only had them for about a month and they are fine. I saw Sammy this morning at the Domain and he's gotten about 1000km out of his pair of Perfecto's, so they can take some mileage. I'll be buying the racing shoes too, they are very light and look similar to DS racers to me for in terms of weight and construction so I'm sure they'll be great.
